Mr. Inwentash, a resource sector entrepreuneur, is Chairman and CEO, of ThreeD Capital Inc., a Toronto based venture capital firm specializing in investments in junior resources, technology, and biotechnology markets. Mr. Inwentash brings more than 30 years of experience in the investment side of the resource industry to the Company. Through two decades leading Pinetree Capital, Mr. Inwentash created significant shareholder value through early investments in Queenston Mining (acquired by Osisko Mining Corp. for $550 million), Aurelian Resources (acquired by Kinross for $1.2 billion), and Gold Eagle Mines (acquired by Goldcorp for $1.5 billion) to name a few. In 2007, he was an Ontario finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. In 2012, Mr. Inwentash received an honorary doctor of laws (LLD) degree from the University of Toronto for his valuable leadership as an entrepreneur, philanthropist and inspirational commitment to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and their families.
Dr. Moss Is a seasoned geologist with seventeen years international experience in the mining industry. He spent his formative years working on exploration projects in Southern Africa, including Namibia, where he was instrumental in the discovery of the multi-million ounce Navachab gold deposit. More recently he has worked in senior management roles with TSX-V listed companies and has overseen the advanced exploration of porphyry projects in South America. Dr. Moss shares his interest and experience in ore deposits and mineral exploration with students as an adjunct professor in the Lassonde Mineral Engineering Program, University of Toronto.
Dr. Luisa Moreno
Dr. Moreno is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Toronto-based Tahuti Global, a successful Global Advisory and Consulting firm supplying services to government institutions, investment firms and companies in the mineral resource sector. She has been involved in industry metals, with a major focus on technology and energy metal companies, for many years and has published reports on rare earths and other critical metals. She has also been a guest speaker on television and at international conferences and has been quoted in newspapers and industry blogs. Dr. Moreno held positions as Senior Analyst, at Toronto based-investment banks and as an Investment Research Analyst at a global investment research firm. She holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in physics engineering, as well as a Ph.D. in materials and mechanics from Imperial College, London.
Michael B. England
Mr. England has been involved in the public markets starting in 1983 working on the floor of the Vancouver Stock Exchange as a floor trader after successfully completing the Canadian Securities, Options and Futures Courses. Since 1995 Mr. England has been involved directly with public companies serving various roles including investor relations, CFO, Directorships and Presidencies and has raised in excess of $20 million to date for exploration and acquisitions.
Bernard Stannus, P.Eng, (Geologist & Mining Engineer)
Mr. Stannus is also the president of BRS Mining Inc. with over 34 years of experience in mineral exploration and mine management in North and South America. He has been involved with the design, development, construction and operation of a number of mines including the Picacho Mine in California, the Gilt Edge Mine in South Dakota, the Ryan Lode Mine in Alaska and the Andacollo Gold Mine in Chile.
Mr. Réjean Gosselin obtained a master’s degree in geology from Université Laval in 1979. For over 30 years, he has been a director and officer of Canadian public mining companies active in North and South America and in Africa. In the early 2000, Mr. Gosselin served as president and CEO of Diabras Exploration Inc. ( name changed to Sierra Metals Inc.) when this company reopened the Bolivar Cu-Zn mine and the Cusi Silver mine in Northern Mexico. Both mines are still operating today. More recently, Mr. Gosselin founded and helped financed Maya Gold & Silver. He is Chairman of the Board of Maya which became a key player on the mining scene in Morocco where it will soon reopen the Zgounder Silver Mine.
Mr. Newman BBA, CPA, CA is currently Chief Financial Officer of Biorem Inc. Biorem is an environmental engineering company that focuses on air emissions abatement and is publicly traded on the TSXV . Since joining Biorem he has streamlined and improved financial reporting and focused on improving financial planning and cash flow forecasting. Prior to joining Biorem Mr. Newman was President and CEO of RDM Corporation a technology company based in Waterloo. Under his leadership RDM developed new products and entered new markets resulting in increased revenues from $4 million to over $30 million. Mr. Newman has an extensive background in product development, operations, administration and finance. He is a chartered professional accountant and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Mr. Johnstone has been a partner at Gardiner Roberts LLP since February of 2005 practicing in the areas of securities and corporate law. He is the Practice Leader of the firm’s Securities Law Group. Mr. Johnstone has been practicing law for over thirty (30) years. He is also a director and/or officer of five other TSX Venture Exchange listed companies and three Canadian Securities Exchange listed companies.
